A scenic and undulating Killin 10K and Family Fun Run, based in Killin, Perthshire Killin 10K 2017 - Are you up for the challenge?
A 10K event is taking place in Killin on Saturday 26th August 2017 at 12pm. T
The ‘Tay Fitness Killin 10K’, will start close to the Dochart Bridge, run down the Main Street and past the McLaren Hall (Event HQ and Expo). The route will then head out of the village and loop up Glen Lochay to the Hydro station before returning to the village and finishing in Breadalbane Park. Along the Main St there will be spectator opportunities and particularly at the finish in the park.

Very excited to be adding a 5K event alongside the 10K on 25th August 2018. Crossing the River Dochart and River Lochay twice each as well as offering close up views of Loch Tay, we think it's a pretty scenic route! It's beginning to look a lot like.... it's time for the Killin Santa Dash! Entries are now OPEN. Participants can take part just for fun or to fundraise for a school or group of their choice. This year we are working very closely with Killin Primary Parent Partnership to raise money for new school computers. Visit the event website to enter and donate! www.killinsantadash.co.uk
The Killin Santa Dash returns for a fifth year in 2017. The 2Km route passes through the village of Killin, Perthshire Since 2013 over 500 Santas of all ages and raised more than £1800 for local schools and groups. Fundraising: Why not use the event to raise funds for the school or group of your choice.(Fundraising is optional) Start: The race will start at 11am from the Falls of Dochart Inn, Killin. Please ensure you are there in plenty of time to collect your Santa suit and participant number. Finish: The event finishes at the Bridge of Lochay Hotel, Killin where there will be a Christmas fair. Entry: You can enter online via the link above. Entry costs £6.50 (plus Entry Central fee). Participants will receive a Santa suit, participant number and finishers medal. Santa Suits: When you register you can select either an adult size (12 years +), youth size (8-14 years old) or child size (under 8 years old) Santa suit. Christmas Fair: At Bridge Of Lochay Hotel after the Dash! Mulled wine, home baking and Christmas stalls... On the day registration: From 9.30am at the car park next to the Falls of Dochart Inn, Killin. Race Briefing: Just before the event starts at 10.55am. General Information: Parking available throughout Killin but is up to 1Km from the start point, please allow sufficient time. Entries are welcome on the day ONLY IF there are spaces remaining. Online entries will close at 7pm on the 7th December unless capacity has already been reached. EntryCentral will show the race as 'Closed' after this time. Please note that this refers to online entries only. Entries will still be accepted on race day IF AVAILABLE. Please keep an eye on the Facebook page for updates
