Monthly Craft Fairs on the first Sunday of each month.
Every month there will be different crafters to look forward to plus cakes and cuppas.
Welcome to Smailholm Village Craft Market.
My name is Karen Lowrie and in our Village Hall on the first Sunday of each month we (my Hubby David and I) will be holding a craft market which will be filled with local handmade items.
Each stall will be different, i.e. one jewellery, one fabric, one ceramic, etc. and no two months will be the same.
Next to the craft hall there will be homemade scrumptious cakes and cuppas available to purchase.
With plenty of seating in the area, you can soak up the relaxing atmosphere and have a leisurley chat.
Outside there is a small play area for children and parking for several cars.
When you hit the 'like' button, please tick 'get notifications' so you can keep up to date with the up and coming events. The first one is on Sunday February 2nd and will be a bit different to start the season off.

Not long now :)
The De-Stash for Sunday February 5th is now fully booked for sellers! Thank you... ....and oh my goodness, you should see some of the items that will be making their way there. Items that we haven't seen before :) I might have to start a new craft ;) I will start putting a list up soon. Take care. Karen x

Hi all :) I'm now taking bookings for the seventh De-Stash which will be held on Sunday February 5th 2017. £15.00 for a full table and £7.50 for a half table. This includes a cuppa to start the day off for the stall holder. Payment for the event is on the day. Thank you This picture is from the September one :)
Woohoo !! We have a date for the next De-Stash :) It will be on Sunday 5th February 2017. Please mark the date in your new diary or a note at the bottom of your calendar to be transferred on to next years. Yay :) Karen x
Thinking about making the next de-stash February 2017. February and September seem to fit in with other things and aren't too close together. It will be the 7th one!! I will let you know the date as soon as I have one :) Karen x
Craft De-Stash August 28th 2016
Yet another great day for customers and sellers. I am sure there was something for everyone as there were many happy smiles. Thank you all so very much for your support by helping to share this event twice a year and popping along. A huge thank you to all the sellers for providing such a choice of quality items at terrific prices. Jill's cakes and freshly baked scones dissapeared as usual. They were delicious. Bought some to bring home too :) Take care one and all Karen and Dave xx

One of our fab stall holders has informed me this morning that she will be bringing a huge amount of DMC threads for embroidery and loads of quilting fabrics plus other things. Now, anyone that knows me, knows that I love embroidery and pretty threads. Oh noooo ;) What will you be looking for?

TWO days to go for the largest craft supplies 'Better than a Sale' event in the area...as far as we know. The choice of wools, fabrics, beads, buttons, silks, frames, card making, tools, etc etc will be huge. Refreshments and CAKE ! Please share with all your friends.
