Rant and Stave is run by Scott and Kathryn Abrahams from their rural workshop in Speyside, Moray – the heart of the Whisky Country.  (The workshop being referred to as The Man Cave and is occupied by Mr Stave, and Mrs Rant stays in the comfort of her cosy home!).  Scott is a time served carpenter/joiner with (many) years of experience working with hardwoods.  Due to work commitments, it has not been possible to pursue his desire to make ‘arty’ things, but sometimes you just have to make the time.  We have been burning used whisky barrels in our log burners for many years, but thought we could create some pretty and functional gifts by upcycling the oak.  We are also able to offer a bespoke and commission service by personalising many of the gifts.  Need a special wedding present that is unique – just ask!
