************ Update*********** Blue's operation has gone well and the repair is looking good, the sad news is the other legs is longer then this one because it is growing quicker . So he is facing a third operation in 6 weeks, the poor boy really needs a "break" but not the kind he seems to be getting! 🐶💙 This Handsome Boy is ‘Blue’ 💙🐶 He came in to us a while back with a broken foot that was being treated & cared for. During the healing, Blue then beared his weight on his good leg & caused more damage 😔 Despite other efforts, his only option now is surgery on his leg which her undergoes tomorrow. This will involve having a plate put in his leg to strengthen & straighten it, he will then undergo cage rest & rehabilitation. Our fingers & toes are crossed that this will work & that Blue will go on to lead a happy active life. This obviously comes at a vast cost & will increase our vet bill dramatically. Last month our vet bill was £4000! Next month will likely be on average the same plus the cost of Blues operation estimated at about £900. We understand at NANNA that we have appeals calling out for various things & we know that you can’t give to everything. Any funds raised to help with Blues vet bill will help.
