CLASS Learn Spanish and Culture with Gloria Picton
Description
SPAINISH LEARNING EXPERIENCE - A page where students can share their experience of learning the language, get some help and give some advice to others My name is Gloria Picton, I moved from Spain to England in 1988 and have been working as a Spanish teacher since 1995 in various educational facilities. Currently, I am working at the University of Suffolk in Ipswich. During 2010, in conjunction with my French colleague from Suffolk College, I decided to set up a small language business “GMC Languages”. My French colleague retired in 2016 resulting in the creation of CLASS.
CLASS is a combination of Culture, Language, and Spoken Spanish.
CLASS is aimed at a wide range of students with broad topics. GCSE and A level study is undertaken along with business topics and more general conversational and holiday lessons. If required we can also look at food and dance. These courses are held within classrooms in Ipswich and at my home address.
This page is where all students can share their experience of learning a language, get some help and give some advice to others. Also, you can keep updated with news and have some practice outside your lessons. The aim is that you have fun learning Spanish, every little helps !

Their brains worked much more efficiently, more like those of young adults. Scientists believe these seniors’ brains have more reserve brain power that helps compensate for age-related memory loss. If knowing two languages is good for your brain, is knowing three or more even better? It looks like that’s the case. There is evidence that being multilingual offers even further protective benefits for the brain. Sources: https://bebrainfit.com/brain-benefits-learning-second-language/
