Been a mad few weeks with lots going on and a lot of customer cars in for various pieces of work. I finished off a job mid afternoon and decided to take a couple of hours to myself to get the X1/9 moved on a bit. Cleaned out the interior. Refreshed the bumpers and side strips. Repainted the exhaust guard and dug out some rust on the arches.

Well this is the third cambelt I have had in the last 12 months that has been timed up incorrectly by a previous owner or mechanic. When I bought the MGF over to the workshop yesterday I thought it felt a little flat and unresponsive. Turned out the cam timing was out by a whole tooth on the crank!
