Inverurie Golf Club
Description
Inverurie Golf Club, Aberdeenshire. Par 69, A friendly challenging club, offering a stern test to par for golfers of all abilities. Inverurie Golf Club is a friendly members club with more than 750 golfing members. The clubhouse is attractively designed on two levels with a very pleasant outdoor veranda overlooking the first and eighteenth holes. We extend a warm welcome to visitors, corporate events and golf outings for whom a rewarding golfing experience and day-out is on offer.
The course, 5576yards, par 69, features an initial gently undulating opening nine holes followed by a more testing and tight finish with broom, gorse and tree-lined mature woodland. This presents a fair challenge to players of all standards who also enjoy natural attractions such as roe deer, woodpeckers and buzzards. The experience is enhanced by some panoramic views especially towards the east - taking in Uryside, Keithhall Estate ( the ancestral home of the Earl of Kintore ), and the ever expanding community of Inverurie.
The nineteenth at Inverurie offers a friendly, relaxed atmosphere where you can round of your day with a quality meal and drink, check out the history of the club, chill out on the veranda with a small refreshment or perhaps mingle with the members and enjoy the regular entertainment. However, an ideal alternative is to visit Steven McLean's well stocked Professional's Shop and browse through the latest golfing equipment, or discuss possible reasons why the course presented a slightly more difficult challenge than you anticipated!
