Everton Scout Campsite
Description
Everton Scout Training Camp, at a height of 400 ft, is located approximately 1¼ south east of the village of Inverkip. The long established site covers roughly five acres. However this has been increased substantially by Inverclyde Council’s recent transfer of a further 35 acres of adjacent fields on a 99 year lease.
This new ground enhances the potential of the Camp and will provide the opportunity for massive development and the establishment of additional outdoor activity facilities. As a first step, a new car park area has been established immediately outside the gates of Everton.
The Lodge House provides indoor accommodation facilities enabling year round use.
The Campsite provides facilities for camping and as a base for training together with adventure activities.
These facilities have been improved by the addition of two new toilet units which include a dedicated Special Needs section.
