St Drostan's Episcopal Church, Insch
Description
We are the Scottish Episcopal Church in Insch We are a small welcoming congregation in the growing community of Insch, which is midway between Inverurie and Huntly. We meet for worship in the beautiful red church building on Commerce Street on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month at 10am. We seek to be a church where everyone is welcome and helped to meet with God and grow in their faith.
In the summer of 2013 we appointed our first full time minister for many years and are seeking to build a church that is a blessing to the community and serves the many young families in Insch. We are excited to be working together with the other churches in the area to grow a church for the next generation.
We are an Episcopal Church, which means we part of the worldwide Anglican communion and follow the liturgical pattern of the Scottish Episcopal Church. We have a homegroup that meets every Wednesday evening and early morning prayer at 6.30 am in the church on Mondays and Fridays. As a congregation we are part of the Diocese of Aberdeen and Orkney and part of the Scottish Episcopal Church.
We would love to welcome you to our Sunday morning services and if you would like more information please get in touch with our minister Alastair MacDonald.
