Time and time again we prove that we are one of the best in the northeast. Audi A4 automatic with the dreaded transmission control module problem. Many garages would simply refuse the job or replace the gearbox with a recon/used unit as they say the module isn't repairable. Here at amvr we don't suggest buying recon gearboxes at around £1500 to rectify the problem, we simply fix the problem itself which is the module inside the gearbox. Doing this is a lot quicker and easier than replacing the gearbox itself as the gearbox doesn't need to be removed. So instead of paying £1500 + fitting costs your paying a few hours labour instead which doesn't even come close to the £1500 recon gearbox price. The problem lies within the circuit board which requires careful cutting of a sealed casing. Once the repair is done the casing is sealed shut to prevent any gear oil entering. Our aim has always been to keep the repair cost down and this is perfect proof of that.
