Selkirk Rex cats based in Scotland - I strive to produce typical cats that have great temperaments and conform to the breed standard. A great deal of research is undertaking to import new unrelated lines and to keep genetic diversity within pedigrees.

Three Quizzicurl bred cats were entered at the Supreme today (The cat equivalent to Crufts). This is another show which is too far and requires too much prep time pre-show for me to enter and the cats coats aren't quite as full as I'd like them for showing at the moment. However Carolyn & Sheena flew the flag for me. Dumpling (Imperial Grand Premier Quizzicurl Clootie Dumplin) owned by Carolyn,won his first UK Grand which is an award only given at the Supreme. Being in fuller coat suits him so much better and he is maturing very well. Dumpling has the most fantastic laid back temperament and he loves showing. Oliver (IGMC Oliver) didn't fare so well but once you get to the top classes the competition gets very tough. And lastly Peter (My blue homozygous boy bred last year) won two Master Cat awards in Pedigree Pet competition so once his title is claimed, he will be MC Blue Peter.

Quizzicurl kittens 2013
I've just downloaded this video from an old mobile phone. It shows 4 of Hope's kittens from her 2013 litter to Nemo (Gr.Ch. Curly Ecosse Brilliant Spark), the 4 colourpoints (Sebastian, Melissa, Mouse & Suzette) then later joined by the cream curly kitten, Gruff. <3 <3 <3

And to Imperial Grand Master Oliver (Quizzicurl Scotch Argus) also owned by Carolyn Gerrard. Oliver is shown as a Pedigree Pet as he has no curls and he has done fantastically well considering he has only turned 3 years old. Oliver won another Olympian yesterday and another Reserve Olympian too, he was entered in for two shows. Thanks to Mandy & Carolyn for the photos.

Imperial Grand Premier Quizzicurl Clootie Dumplin pictured at the joint shows yesterday. Dumpling was only entered in one show and won his first Olympian. Congratulations to his owner Carolyn Gerrard and to Carolyn & Mandy McConnell for the photos.

Little Violet enjoyed some time in the garden today. As you can see, she has the most wonderfully curly coat, its even more tightly curled at the roots.
