Thanks to the many friends and public that gave us a turn at the Oktoberfest on Sunday! Also grateful thanks to organiser Paul Kirrage for working so hard to bring Mechanical Music to a new audience! 👍🍻💪

We've just arrived and here is event organiser Paul Kirrage giving us a turn! A reminder, James is at the Steam Trains & Fair Organ Oktoberfest tomorrow. This showcases some of the finest German Organs in the UK, and the ‘De Lange Gavioli’ from The Netherlands is appearing in the UK for the first time in over 50 years. James will be presenting his Dutch Street Organ 'Het Blauwtje', attempting to keep it 'hand turned' all day! (Don't we make it look hard work!!) This is to give the public a different spectacle, and also a more accessible view of the workings of an organ. The 7 ¼ inch guage Mizens Railway will be in operation and running a special steam locos service taking visitors for trips around the beautiful woodland setting on a route which extends for more than a mile. Brooklands Museum will be presenting a display of vintage vehicles, there are craft and produce stalls, a vintage children’s fun fair and of course a real ale bar. Admission charges: Adults £3, Children £2. Family ticket £9 (2 adults and up to 3 children). Additional charge for train rides. SatNav Address: Barrs Ln, Knaphill, Woking GU21 2JW
