Cosy country cottage sleeps 4 in Icklesham, East Sussex near Rye. Located in An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on our Beautiful Farm. Knockbridge Farm is a grassland farm located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the village of Icklesham. Home to 500 ewes, plus their lambs from April, a handful of rams, many horses, 7 dogs and 4 cats.
As well as Lambs we provide top quality rye grass horse haylage to local horse owners, we are proud to include amongst our equine clients winning racehorses, horses eventing to 4* level plus many hunters and allrounders.
Knockbridge Farm is the perfect venue for a holiday, close to Rye and Winchelsea and many other tourist attractions, easy access to great footpaths and very convenient for local reknown pub 'The Queens Head'.
Knockbridge is the perfect place to enjoy the beautiful outdoors, be it relaxing in the sun, fishing or walking. The ideal place for the budding artist or photographer. But also a lovely party / wedding venue.
We have recently completed our holiday cottage, Knockbridge Parlour which is available from December 2017. We are delighted to have been supported by European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development;
This project is to convert a redundant milking parlour into a holiday let, which will enable visitors to bring their horses and other pets on holiday with them. It is part funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.
