The fishing was electric this week at the New Howwood , the Top Shallows , Andy's Bay and the Front were stuffed with fish feeding aggressively , top flys wers Cdc's , Fabs , S/Buzzers , Cormorants and various lures , Wotsits and Buzzers fished under the Bung also had good results. Paul Gallagher Jnr 48 Martin Daly 32 Bill Provan 26 Colin Provan 16 Mark Irvine 16 Ian Kerr 12 Stuart lindsay 8 Mikey Lindsay 8 John Milne 7 Colin Crichton 6 A further 100 + fish were caught and released , 19 fish were taken for the pot for a weight of 54lb7oz , fish of the week goes to Paul Gallagher Jnr with a stunning over wintered Bow of 8lb .

A great evenings fishing at the New Howwood , Martin Daly , Bill Provan and Paul Gallagher Jnr had 48 fish between them in a 3hr period , Andy's Bay and the Front were crawling with fish feeding aggressively , Cdc's , Buzzers and Damsels were getting great results , well done guys.

The fishing was electric Monday/Thursday but seemed to quieten down over the weekend , Andy's Bay and the Dam Wall area were crawling with fish , a few sunny afternoons saw Buzzer hatches and the fish feeding aggressively on the surface , top flys were S/Buzzers , Cdc's , Fabs , Hothead Damsels , F/Ups and Ally McCoists. The " John McCann Memorial Day " will be held at the fishery on Saturday the 16th of June , would anybody wishing to come along let me know as places are filling up quickly.

RANT... I wouldn't usually post this " but " every now and then people have the knack of pissing me off , yesterday wasn't the easiest days fishing " but " fish were caught , first thing this morning I'm told by a good source that a certain angler ( you know who you are ) who fished yesterday was moaning and complaining ( not to me ) that I don't stock and that there are very few fish in the Dam ( tell my wallet ) To the angler who's opinion this is have you ever thought it might be your lack of angling skills that caused you to have a bad day as I'm sure you stayed in the one spot pulling a Yellow Dancer all day , then had the audacity to thank me for a great day .....rant over....

The fishing has been steady this past week at the New Howwood , the Flat Rocks and the Dam Wall area have been the hotspots with the Front also producing some good sport Top flys this week were HotheadDamsels , Rabbits , Ally McCoists , F/ups and various Buzzers and Bugs fished under the Bung. A big thanks to lodge 1219 Gleniffer for holding the Kenny Cairns Memorial at the New Howwood today .
