Recipe for Tandoori Chicken & Rice hotpot! 👳🏽 Ingredients (6 portions): 6 GSN chicken breasts 1 can tinned tomatoes 300g brown rice 1 courgette 1 orange pepper 2 sweet potatoes Mushrooms 3 red onions Half green pepper Tandoori spice mix Chilli powder S&P Method Pour can of tinned tomatoes and 2 cans of water in a large pan and bring to boil Fry red onion and mushrooms Add fried red onion, mushrooms and chopped peppers, courgette and potato to the pan and set to simmer Add rice, spices and season Simmer for 30-40 minutes stiring regularly and add more water if needed 😋 #eatwell #eatclean #eattolive #eattoperform #food #foodisfuel #nutrition #nourish #noaddedsugar #fitfam #fitspo #mealprep

Eat your eggs! 🍳 eggs have been given a bad rap as they contain a lot of cholesterol. An average egg contains 212mg which is a lot more compared to other whole foods. BUT eating cholesterol won't actually increase the amount of bad cholesterol (LDL) in the blood. The liver actually produces cholesterol, every single day. If you eat it, then your liver produces less. If you don’t eat it, then your liver produces more of it. 8 week progress picture! May not seem a big difference in 8 weeks but I'm pleased! I've not been actively trying to lose fat, but with my training increasing over the last couple of months I have! I keep my diet in check most of the time, at least 80%+!! I still have glasses of wine here and there, and I have cheat meals 🙈 and I cheat goooooood. It's took me a long time to get this physique!! I'm talking 18 months. Not 6 weeks, 12 weeks or even 6 months!! Sure you can lose a lot of weight fast, if I needed to make weight for a meet I could lose lots more quicker if I was desperate. But reality is, is that how you're going to eat forever? There's no reason why you need to lose a stone in week. Be honest with what you're eating, take a look at your diet. Is it that good though? Are you just starving all week and eating food until it comes out of your ears on a weekend? So common you see people, especially office workers eating salads all week, being super good then on the weekend binge drink and eat loads of crap! And wonder why the diet and training isn't working. You need to commit yourself properly. Not just Monday-Thursday. MONDAY TO MONDAY. Every week. You'll slip up some days/weeks but just get back on track and keep going. This is hard to look at and I imagine it will be for a lot of women. Especially those with daughters. We all fear that our negative behaviours will be passed to those close to us including our children. Actually hating the way you look is awful, especially when so many people think you're beautiful. You can do everything to change your body but it's your mindset that needs to change. It's confidence in your appearance you crave. Women tend to envy other women who are comfortable in their own skin, yet we're quick to judge someone that is happy with their self! Don't discourage someone to not love themselves by picking fault with them. You have no idea what that lady has had to go through to finally become confident. If you're not happy with your own body and you know you can do more to become healthy, then make a change. I don't mean crash diet and exercise 351617 hours per week! Focus on becoming fit and healthy. Throw away the scales, don't compare yourself to others and certainly don't put others down to make you feel better. Find things you like about yourself and focus on them.
