Mapledean Nursery takes funded 2 and 3 year olds at our newly opened setting in Cressex We are a newly opened Nursery on Cressex Road, we currently have places for funded 2 year olds (mornings) and 3 year olds (mostly afternoon, few morning) in September.
We are run by the same team as the Outstanding Bowerdean Nursery on Gordon Road in High Wycombe.

The children have been busy making bird food and planting bulbs in recycled milk bottles in our nature garden. Roll on the spring when they appear!
A huge well done to our wonderful children. You all did so well in your Christmas song concerts. A big thank you to the staff for their hard work and thanks to all the parents who supported their children.
If your child goes to Forest school don't forget to put them in their wellies and waterproofs. Looks like it'll be a wet one tomorrow!
A huge thank you to all our parents for their donations today. We raised over £50. We had a great day dressed up and had lots of lovely painted, spotty faces :)
It's Children In Need week this week. We'll be doing lots of spotty activities and baking cakes. Friday will be a fancy dress day :)
Well it's all about Autumn at nursery at the moment. We have been weighing and counting conkers and pinecones, painting trees in autumn colours and listening to Autumn by Vivaldi. Today we even got to try and play the violin! Busy children, engaged minds.

We are learning about the story of the Owl Babies and leading into autumn with a tough tray to reenact the story, owl collages and a child printed woodland display for our owls to live on. Such fun!

We planted carrots, potatoes, courgettes and marrows last term and we finally harvested them today :)
We've welcomed back our 2 & 3 year olds who joined us last year. It's been a quiet 2 days settling back in. Today we are welcoming lots of new families to our Mapledean family. It's going to be a busy day ☺
