If you are looking for a very compact CD and Amplifier with high resolution capability, then look no further than the Denon DCD-50 and PMA-50 combination. The DCD-50 high quality CD drive as well as standard music CD's has MP3 and WMA tracks compatibility too. With interchangeable feet position and orientation sensing display, both the CD and Amplifier can be used both vertically and horizontally. With such a dinky size, the PMA-50 packs a real punch of sound with its competent 50 watts per channel. The on board digital to analogue conversion, with 24-bits/192 kHz PCM and DSD track support via its USB-B input has high resolution capability too. However, for the wireless fans out there, you can stream your favorite tracks from your portable device via the Bluetooth connectivity. Who says vinyl is dead?.... Audiophiles have always valued a good turntable in their system, with many having huge in depth collections of records to call upon. However, in the last few years the interest and enthusiasm for a listening medium that is over 100 years old has spread to many main stream listeners, with the youth especially taking up the trend. Here at English Audio, ever since the shop was opened more than 25 years ago, there has always been a great choice of turntables to choose from. There are now many really good vinyl playback manufacturers, but one of our top favorites and a brand we are very proud to stock, is the multi award winning British company, Rega. With four main models in the range that we have on demonstration, there is an affordable product for everybody, with the award winning base model, the RP-1 coming in at a very reasonable £230. This entry level machine, which is available in three different finishes, comes with the RB101 arm and Rega Carbon cartridge. Then the next step up is the RP-3. With a higher quality construction, glass platter, RB303 tonearm and Elys 2 mm cartridge, at £550 it is a fantastic mid range performer indeed. Then the stunning RP-6 and RP-8 take vinyl playback right up to its upper limits, with the RP-6, with its hand built RB303 arm and Exact cartridge and three high gloss finishes at £1098. Then to top that we have the fantastic high gloss black RP-8, with RB808 and Exact mm cartridge at £1798. All four models are on show at English Audio for demonstration.
