WEEKEND GROOM REQUIRED we are now looking for a new groom to cover Saturday and Sundays. Duties required include: - Mucking out - Feeding - Filling hay nets - Turning out and catching in again - Picking out feet and grooming. - Rug changes - Keeping the yard swept. Must be confident working alone as we are a small yard with only a few horses on full livery at the weekend. You would be working on a split shift. A few hours in the morning and a few hours in the evening. However hours do vary depending how many horses we have on full livery. Preferably looking for a driver as we are not on a bus route. Well the snow certainly made things Interesting at the stables. All horses seen to, all very happy munching in their stables and have had a nice warm dinner and have plenty of water keeping them going for the night. Bring on the better weather and the longer nights!
