Today marks Halloween where things go bump in the night and all’s not what it seems. 👻 It also makes the end of the season 2017. It’s flown by and we have been so fortunate to welcome so many wonderful guests. Thank you one and all (In Australia, pumpkins are often carved - here’s ours) 🎃

We cannot believe the end of the season is fast approaching! Where on earth did that time go? For those of you who have visited, just looking at this photo will bring back memories of sights, sounds and smells... Cornwall will just have to be in picture form until your next visit!

Not many people know this but an unsung hero was a Hayle man through and through. There is a monument on the Hayle Harbour foreshore celebrating Rick Rescorla. Rick sang Cornish songs to those evacuating the tower. He is and was a legend. ❤️ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8XfwZAKPMk&sns=em

This week's guests are traveling all the way from Germany. With an unpredictable weather forecast ahead, they may have to enjoy Cornwall from the comfort of the cosy bed looking out to sea.

It's feedback like this that makes us so happy: Ridgeway is the most perfect place and the beach is just wow, our little girl said it was the best holiday ever and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there, the homely touches were perfect and looking out over the sea with just the fairy lights on couldn't be anymore relaxing, heaven on earth.

The Ridgeway sea views are often talked about but the view across to Trencrom Hill is also smile worthy. Did you know you can see St.Michael's Mount too? Just the tip of the castle's visible but it just shows how narrow the land is between St.Ives Bay and Mounts Bay.
