This is part way through the bottle defence technique. Note how the defender doesn't jump back out of the way which would put them in further danger.

A couple of the guys demonstrate Paksao which in this photograph isn't a completed technique, but it does show the trapping of the limbs by the defending person.

Congratulations to Mark who passed his "Grass grading" (Part of the black belt tests) and was presented with his certificate recently. 😁

There was more instructors baseball bat and (once speed was built up a bit) helmet training last night, trying to build speed in attacking and in getting out of the way also. Its a good job we used the helmets as well as the instructors are very VERY fast with a bat!!! I was lucky to get the shots that I did get.
