Tanya Horne School of Highland dancing have classes to suit people of all ages and standards, from highly ranked open competitors to completely new social beginners. Our classes from our tartan Tots (age 2+) to our Highland classes from age 3
Traditional Highland Dancing classes by Tanya Horne Fellow BATD Member UKA and member of the worldwide judging panel with the SOBHD

Absolutely fantastic day for the Tanya Horne dancers.... School with the most points for the morning session. A good haul of trophies came home today and we are so very proud of each and every one of the girls. Hard work pays off! A champion is a Contender who once refused to give up Special shout out to cara and Brenna who did their fling for the first time Mhairi and Brooke for their first time in beginners where Brooke got her first stamp and mhairi took home a trophy. Madison for her first novice sweeping the floor with all her trophies. Ellie an Cayla who finished novice with trophies And everyone else on their personal bests. And kaitlin who did fab in Inverness Great day had by all
Tanya Horne Dancers have just completed their first set of BATD medal tests for the year. You girls were amazing... And so lovely to see the friendships you are making.. As always lovely to have the girls from across the water join us too

Not one but 2 collages required! Congratulations to all the dancers who competed at the 8th Violet Leitch Festival of Highland dancing yesterday in Canisbay. The school had a great day, plenty silverware was taken home. And we won overall school in the morning with over 8000 points. And runner up to Elise Lyall school in the afternoon. Proud teacher right here :) Keep shining bright girls, your working for it!
