Manor Vets
Description
Our aim is to discuss all aspects of your pet’s health with you, offering you all the options that are available in treatment and prevention. Manor’s roots are deep, going back more than 120 years to when the practice serviced the pit ponies. In the mid-20th century it was owned and run by the famous horse vet Mr Dawes. He was renowned for his knowledge of equine medicine and was president of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons for many years.
Today we are still renowned for our expertise and we have won several awards for our innovative approach to veterinary practice, especially client care.
We encourage our medical staff to continue their education in specialist fields in order to expand their knowledge and keep it up to date. Our aim is to discuss all aspects of your pet’s health with you, offering you all the options that are available in treatment and prevention. We understand and respect the fact that not all clients have the ability to fund the most advanced treatments.

Please help keep your rabbit warm, happy and safe from danger during this very cold spell… Rabbit winter guide: How to keep your rabbits warm and healthy through this very cold spell Keeping rabbit hutches warm in winter is very important, hutches should be positioned so that wind, rain, snow or sleet can’t blow in. If the weather’s particularly bad, move the hutch into an unused garage or shed if it’s possible. If your rabbit needs to stay outside, help keep them snug as a bug in their hutch by covering the front with an old blanket or sacking and adding extra bedding. Don’t forget you need to change their bedding regularly. Check their water bottle regularly because the little ball freezes easily. Press the ball every few hours to keep it moving – you can get specially made bottle covers but you’ll still need to do regular checks. Your rabbit still needs to have access to their run during the day, so they can get their regular exercise. Cold rabbits need more calories to keep warm so give them lots of good quality hay to nibble on. During the winter foxes and badgers get even hungrier, which makes them bolder than usual. Make sure your hutch is sturdy enough to survive the attention of a determined predator. http://www.manorvets.co.uk/news/497-keep-your-rabbit-warm/ #rabbit #vets #westmidlands

Thankfully it's not a broken tail! Just a very sore one! Either from being bitten by her brother or she has banged it somehow! She ok now she's been to the vets! Metacam for a few days though! Love her!
After a long night of tests for Addisons Disease and strategic rehydration we got to see #vizslaaura at the vets. We could hear her before we saw her, she needed the loo and was shouting to go out. She was a different dog from the one we left last night and couldn't wait to get home. Only a short drive away from the 24hr branch we agreed to take her home tonight and any change or turn and we'd take her back. She's at home now, curled up snoring, with Apollo beside her and he's licking her ears. They're so happy to be back with one another and she's eating little and often 🙌🏽😘 thank you for your messages and love through the night, looking forward to getting her back up to full strength again! 🐶 #vizslagram #vizsla #hungarianvizsla #getwellsoon
