Barking Mad (North Cheshire) provide 5 star one to one home from home care for your dog - an alternative to kennels, family and friends.  My name is Karen Conway and I'm delighted to be the proud business owner of Barking Mad North Cheshire.

I live on the border of North Cheshire and South Liverpool in Hale Village with my husband Richard, and our beloved golden retriever Meg. We are both mad on dogs and all animals in general and so Barking Mad really does describe us well!

My working life has up to now been all about advising and helping people. I originally trained and practised as a solicitor in the Midlands and then continued my career working at the Charity Commission in Liverpool and then at Citizens Advice, project managing a variety of different projects for the national charity.

So, when the chance arose to join the Barking Mad business which combines providing a first-class bespoke service for you and your precious four-legged family member it was an opportunity not to be missed.

Our mission is to ensure that we take the stress out of holiday arrangements for you when it comes to arranging the care of your dog whilst you are away. As a dog owner I understand that your holiday will only be a happy one if you are confident that your family pet is happy and also having the time of their life on their own doggy holiday!

Our bespoke service is designed to make sure that both you and your dog enjoy a relaxing holiday; confident in the knowledge that your dog is safe and happy and being treated as part of the family whilst you are away, just like at home. We take time to really get to know your dog’s individual needs at your home, so we can match them perfectly with one of our dog loving hosts.

Our host families are all specially selected and come from a variety of backgrounds with the key factor being that they are experienced dog lovers happy to welcome a dog into their home and care for them as one of the family for their holiday.

Richard and I are both from Staffordshire originally and so are really keen to get to know all of the dog loving local people in North Cheshire and to provide you with a first class dog sitting service.
