"This was an absolutely lovely property. There was plenty of communication before we arrived, and once we got there, a loaf of warm, freshly baked, bread along with jam, marmalade and butter was awaiting us. We were left to our own devices for the majority of the stay, but we were told that any problems (and there wasn't any), we could knock on the door. I could not recommend this property high enough for a couple, or family with young children (my son cried when leaving as he didn't want to leave). Looking forward to returning, and hopefully in the winter to experience that season. Thank you Sylvia" - Ian, July 2016
"A beautiful place to stay. The Old Bakehouse was one of our favourite airBnBs. We arrived to freshly baked bread and jam! Sylvia was very friendly and welcoming. The house was very comfortable and charming, in a lovely village. Would definitely recommend it." - Stuart, July 2016
"Sylvia met us at the property earlier that check in time to allow us into the cottage before the wedding we were attending. She was very helpful and gave us a taxi number for getting home. She left us fresh bread in the morning which was lovely. The cottage was ideal for our one night stay, it had under floor heating which made it nice and cosy. Thank you for our stay." - Kerry, July 2016
"Sylvia was very relaxed and friendly and made us feel very welcome. We'd bought some local fish and other supplies and just settled right in and cooked a wonderful meal in the excellent kitchen. It's a beautiful location and really quiet. Would love to stay again. It was an amazing space with everything we needed-comfy beds, a great kitchen and really nicely decorated. Loved it!" - Katherine, June 2016

The cottage has all the amenities that are necessary and Sylvia was a really good helpful host from the welcome basket of bread and jam to finding suitable storage for a bike!
