Hi Folks I'm really sorry to say we're going to have to cancel the car boot for another week. People think the ground looks dry but I've checked it everyday for the last week and its soggy under foot. This could cause problems for people driving onto the ground and ruin the site for the rest of the year! If the forecast is anything to go by we will be up and running next week in a heat wave 😎😎 We also have some exciting news!! We have another car boot beginning on Weds the 2nd of May at New Waltham Pavillion. This car boot will run from 9am until 3pm. It has ladies and men's toilets in situ and we will have our Scooby burger van and Dons ices on site. The cost will be the same £5 for a car van or trailer! Hi Folks we regret to have to tell you that the car boot is cancelled again for this week! Although we've had better weather we've had no wind or sun to speak of to dry the ground enough to hold the car boots. We were all rearing to go so feeling gutted ☹ Here's hoping that next week the 15th of April will bring better weather! Hi Folks We're really sorry to announce that we are going to have to cancel the car boot this week on both Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday ☹ The weather conditions have made it impossible to run on the field, all the rain we've had has made it waterlogged in areas and if we run in these conditions there's a risk of ruining the field for the rest of the season, and worse still having people stuck in the mud!! Weve had so many enquiries and we're really sorry to have to disappoint you all, we're all really gutted but it's out of our hands! We will be open next week ( weather permitting). Hi Folks the first Morrison's car Boot of 2018 is on Sunday the 1st of April 🎉🎉 We will also be running on Easter Bank Holiday Monday the 2nd of April. This is all depending on the weather. Well it's the end of another cracking season. Thanks to everyone buyers and sellers alike for making it such a good year!! You all make it feel more of a community than a car boot and we really appreciate every single one of you. We have some loyal die hard carbooters (you know who you are) you're the ones that keep us motivated to keep going every Sunday....Thanks to you all.
