Sally Prendergast Art
Description
My oil paintings are inspired by the natural world, particularly the English & Irish coasts, water and reflections on wet sand. All work is copyright. Welcome to my world, inspired by nature and particularly by the British and Irish coastline, captured in oils.
Please engage your sense of humour as you'll meet LilyBun, a rescued cuddly rabbit who was reunited with her owner just before Christmas 2013. Now she and her sidekick, MiniBun, come to us for holibobs and fun. Button Bun stays with me so I don't become lonesome.
Commissions are welcome. Please note that all copyright rests with Sally Prendergast, regardless of any source material used. Full copyright to images produced by the artist can be negotiated, and agreed in writing, prior to dispatch of the work. This cannot be negotiated once the work has been dispatched. Thank you!
(Now for the boring but necessary bit). I can mail my work, framed in the UK but preferably unframed to other locations. Payment by Paypal is preferred, and essential for purchases from outside the UK. I'll always post goods quickly but cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by the postal service, especially if shipping abroad. You are responsible for any customs charges if work is mailed overseas (sorry!).

I'm busy sewing stoles and framing paintings... let's hope I don't get them muddled up...! I'll share some of the work of my colleagues at Kimble Art Group - I love Polli Phippen's colourful mosaics <3

Almost time for the Kimble Art Group to fling open the doors for Bucks Open Studios! I'll be showing my paintings and stoles, with smaller pieces of gold- and beadwork too. Between us, we're a diverse bunch - do pop along for a cream tea (or a glass and a nibble this Friday evening) :)

Yesterday I went into London for an event. Afterwards I decided to take an unscheduled wander along the South Bank, where I saw this wonderful man and his bucket of joy. That's not bubble mix, it's pure, undiluted happiness! An aside; he is not apparently British and it doesn't matter. I don't know if he is literate, or if he has a degree. Rich or poor, fulfilled or lonely, healthy or unwell, he speaks a language that transcends all distinctions. May he be blessed! (Oh- and look at the crowd. Every earthly continent represented!)
That Friday feeling... Punctured!
