Description
I make bespoke cakes for any occasion, as wacky or traditional as you like!
No job is too big, small or scary; I love a challenge! Based in East Lancashire but would be absolutely happy to make cakes for anybody, anywhere! I aim to provide people with the opportunity to have that cake they've always wanted, without breaking the bank! I price each request individually based on ingredient costs, time needed and distance. facebook.comThis has to be up there with my favourite cakes - so bright and colourful! Great choice Jenny 😉 Scarlett is going to be 1 on Monday, and is partying with her friends and family today. This cake is a whopper - double height 7"'and 9" chocolate cakes, yum! I hope everyone has a lovely time xxx
You may or may not know this, but I'm a bit of a cricket fan, and in particular I love BBC Test Match Special. So last weekend, we went to Old Trafford to watch England vs South Africa, and I made a cake for TMS (it's a bit of a tradition, that people make cakes for them, and something I've wanted to do for a long time). I couldn't have predicted what happened next! They talked about me and my cake on the radio, they shared it on social media, Michael Vaughan got involved, and I got several mentions on Twitter from the legend that is Henry Blofeld (aka Blowers, who is retiring from the radio this summer; the cake was dedicated to him). I was smiling like the Cheshire Cat all day and beyond, and was thrilled that my cake went down so well!
I was lucky enough to make a 2nd cake for Olive this week, as she had a big party for her 100th birthday yesterday. This cake is a 12" square. I hope she had a lovely time xx
Today, Olive is 100! I've never had the pleasure of making a cake for a milestone like this before, and I hope that Olive has had a lovely day xx
Yesterday was the wedding of Stacey and Jamie, and I made them a three tier cake with vanilla, chocolate and lemon tiers, and some chocolate truffle cake pops as favours. The lovely handmade tags for the cake pops were made by the bride, and set them off beautifully. I hope that they had a lovely day xxx
It's a week of weddings! Today's cake was for Natasha & Jay, at The Moorlands in Halifax. It's my first four tier cake! The tiers were chocolate (the second and fourth, because everyone loves chocolate cake), salted caramel, and angel cake, and the cakes were covered with buttercream, and decorated with sparkly silver sprinkles and handmade sugar flowers. I hope that the new Mr & Mrs Smith had a fabulous day xxx
Ross was lucky enough to go whale watching for his 40th birthday, so the cake design was a bit of a no-brainer! Hope he's had a lovely day with his family 🐋 xx
Here's a cake featuring Supergirl and Harley Quinn, for Olivia & Georgia's 8th birthday. They're having a roller skating party, hence the roller boots on the characters. Hope the girls have a fabulous time xx
I ❤️ making dog cakes! Here's Ruby, the cocker spaniel, for a 50th birthday. She's made from delicious salted caramel cake, and was lots of fun to make 🐶 xx
Reactions like Maisie's, when she saw her cake yesterday, are my absolute favourite thing about making cakes. Her little face - she was so chuffed, and I lost count of the number of thank you's that I got from her! I'm so pleased that she loves her cake, and hope that she has a fabulous party today with her friends xxx (I did urge her to brush her teeth afterwards, and to maybe not tell the dentist) 😉 Amy Thomson x
Here's a Flying Scotsman with a Preston North End twist! For a chap enjoying his 65th birthday and retirement - quite the double celebration! I hope everyone had a lovely time, and enjoyed this chocolate cake 😋 Steve N Dianne Hargreaves xx
Here's the cake that I made for Graeme & Lauren's wedding yesterday. Three tiers with vanilla, salted caramel and chocolate layers, ombré ruffles, and a gorgeous topper made by Etched Studio. Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Swimby! Xx
