Passion Purpose Pride Thurrock Hornets are a Basketball Academy who strive to get the best out of each individual.
Coaches are qualified with England Basketball to a high level, with some of our coaches also qualified to referee and table officiate.
Working towards National League is our aim with teams as young as U10 right the way through to senior level. We want to give every child an opportunity so whether you're beginner or advanced come along and give us a go!

What a day of basketball! U14 boys played top of the league Milton Keynes Trojans today in a battle to potentially make the playoffs. The game was continually close throughout with Thurrock always holding the small lead. The atmosphere created by both team supporters was phenomenal! Trojans in foul trouble in the fourth gave Hornets the push they needed to finish with a 69-51 WIN!! A true demonstration of great sportsmanship to finish the game. One more game next weekend to determine League positioning. Well done boys! 🏀🐝 #teamhornets
