Yesterday was spent flail mowing neglected grass land for a new customer who has just bought a lovely yard but sadly it has been left to go wild.
Prices for September 2017 are. 2017 4ft hay £40 2016 4ft hay £40 2017 conventional hay £4 2016 conventional hay £4 2017 haylage 4ft £40 2017 haylage 3 1/2 ft £35 2017 wheat straw in conventional bales £2.50 2017 wheat straw in 4ft rounds £22 All prices include delivery but there may be a minimum load size.
Finally managed to get going on some wheat straw today. 500 baled and 300 carted today!

There's not been much time to post lately it's been flat out making haylage/hay and any spare time has been sucked up by deliveries. Here is some dash cam footage from my loader wrapping haylage last week.
This weeks low in the weather has meant I've been able to catch up with deliveries flail mowing and muck collections. We currently have in stock. 2017 hay in conventional bales 2016 hay in conventional bales 2016 hay in 4ft rounds Wheat straw in conventional and 4ft round. 2017 haylage is almost there.
This lovely old fashioned Medow hay will be available for direct sale from the field this weekend near Haverhill at massively discounted prices. A really lovely clean crop. Contact me for details.
What a difference 4 days can make.
Over the last couple of years I've built up several wild flower Meadows that I look after but I rarely get to see any of them in full bloom so I decided to put a small one on an unused area on the farm. It's looking fantastic and is covered in bees 🐝.
Back on the haylage again today! Hopefully the weather will stay settled for the next month so we can break the back of the work.
