Golspie Gala
Description
Gala Week has for many years been the "homecoming week" for those who have had to earn a crust away from the village and it's also time to renew friendship Golspie Gala Week, is a hugely popular and regular event since the early 1970’s and is now regarded as one of the foremost summer community festivals in the North of Scotland. Organised by The Golspie Gala Association, the week-long packed programme of daily and evening events cater for children of all ages and adults alike, and commences with The Crowing of the Gala Queen.
Full details will be posted on this site in June, and the Gala Week booklet will also be available from local shops at that time.
Many of the events are free of charge and sponsored by a business, and monies raised during Gala Week is donated to local charities and organisations in and around Golspie.
