Our celebration of cricket tournament underway at BenwellandWalbottle CC , lots of fun for young players and lots of parents enjoying the facilities at this great family friendly club. The first round has just commenced and the sun is coming out for us too ! Despite the rain curtailing proceedings a wee bit early congratulations to Alnmouth & Lesbury CC U9s , our winners this year. Very well played, with Walbottle worthy runners up. Due to the rain, I fear I may have not thanked everyone who helped the day go off well, thanks to Rob Draper, Stephen Reed Jonathon Squires Chris Ashburn Ian Mullen, both Alnmouth coaches on the pitch and Malcolm Brown plus one, Gillian Reed bar and catering. Thank you so much for all the help, we could not of ran without you. Also a big thank you to all parents for giving up the afternoon to It was encouraging to see so many youngsters enjoying their cricket, we look forward to seeing you all next year.

We are delighted to be sponsoring our end of summer celebration of cricket for the under 9s this coming Sunday 17th September Our hosts are BenwellandWalbottle CC (based at Walbottle campus ) If you want to come and watch an have a leisurely afternoon then do come along to this family friendly club , there is lots of free parking and the bar will be open too ! Five teams will be showcasing grassroots cricket and promoting the spirit of the game.
