Located in Galashiels in the Scottish Borders, I provide affordable, timely, efficient and effective Bookkeeping Services for all business entities.   As a Business Management Graduate and an Associate member of The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (the largest bookkeeping institute in the world who promote and maintain standards of bookkeeping as a profession) I remain up to date with the latest legislation and best placed to provide a trusted and exemplary service to business.

With these qualifications and considerable work experience in the Financial and Business sector, Books Squared Bookkeeping was created in 2014.  My aim is to provide an affordable service which assists all business entities with their bookkeeping,  by creating and maintaining easily understandable, manageable, yet efficient, systems of recording and reporting.

Not only can I complete all required and necessary financial record keeping for Sole Traders but I can also assist Partnerships and Limited Companies with specific areas of their financial record keeping, not only reducing Accounting costs but also allowing you to devote more of your time towards running and growing your business.

So, if you don’t have an aptitude for numbers, are feeling overwhelmed by the task in hand and don’t know where to start, or don’t personally have the time to deal with your book keeping please email Stephanie at info@bookssquared.co.uk and let me support you in making your business thrive.

Last week I had a few meetings with new business start ups. From our conversations in these meetings I found there was an emphasis of the same message - and idea. We often feel we have to go it alone. This can be to the detriment of our business .... and our pleasure. Don't become bogged down in feeling that you have to do it all alone. Getting people on board, and ones that support you not only in the areas you need, but also YOU as a person, is not a sign of weakness...... but actually may be the difference between your dreams succeeding and your dreams becoming a nightmare. #icanhelp #yourenotalone #teamwork

ARE YOU NEWLY SELF EMPLOYED? If you're newly self employed you need to ✅ register with HMRC as self employed as soon as you are actively seeking work in relation to this business; ✅you need to register as self employed even if you are employed; ✅failing to register within 3 months of the end of your first month of business could result in a fine. What are you waiting for? ✅

After my recent letters after the name post, this, along with the fancy business cards, is a reminder to us all - it's all meaningless if you're not personable. 🤗 (I do still believe though there won't be many, if any, bookkeepers with a Psychlogy Degree which of course makes me even more appealing 😉 along with my lovely business cards ♥️🤣)

This made me laugh 😂🤣😂
