Every four years or so the DVSA conduct a Standards Check on the tuition given by Driving Instructors. Categories are FAIL, Grade B, or the highest, a Grade A. I recently had mine and was pleased to be right at the top of a Grade A rating. Many instructors say they have a high pass rate, but cannot actually prove it. I wrote asking for written confirmation, and have received official confirmation of my achieved pass rate, which is now 93.75%.
