This week's meeting was excellent with a great atmosphere. We welcomed past member Steff, who has now moved to London, who entertained us with a speech entitled For the love of Food. We also had a new guest Anthony come along for the first time. We were also especially pleased to have the Area President Marilyn Gregory with us, who gave us the benefit of her expertise with two evaluations. A good evening enjoyed by all.

Today 6 of our members attended the Western District conference up in Preston with Rob and Andrew entering evaluation and speech contests (sadly without success) - a great day had by all and some fabulous speeches to listen to

We had an excellent meeting last night with lots of different items and thoughts about things our members love. Well done to all taking part, and a special mention to Raymond for an excellent first general evaluation!

The District Conference will take place on 26th February up at the Salmesbury Hotel in Preston. Rob Cross and Andrew Western will be entering evaluation and speech contests respectively having won the area competitions...here's Rob picking up the area trophy back in November
