The Bunty Findhorn
Description
Home of The Bunty Arts Activism Creative Cultural Collective. Selling gifts, curios, art, workshops, fireside chats. Opening early Summer 2017 but keep an eye out for events before then. Marc Wolf Laurano bought The Bunty in 2013 and has gradually worked on the building on visits from Highland Park, New Jersey, to his long-term home in Findhorn village.
He believes The Bunty, Findhorn can be a base for World Water Watchers.
The Bunty Arts, Activism, Cultural and Creative Collective: The Bunty will sell gifts and curios and support local artists, musicians, crafters, makers, authors and poets in the retail space, as well as supporting social and environmental activism, holding workshops and having fireside chats.
It will be a cool place to hang out and will help to tackle loneliness and isolation! We envisage a collective forming, providing benefits to local: people, social and activism networks, environment, and economy.

FANTASY IN FINDHORN! 7 - 9 PM, Saturday, January 20th Crown & Anchor, Findhorn Free (though we do encourage you to buy a drink). Join twelve American fantasy writers, including Rutgers University Creative Writing instructor Alex Dawson and Lev Grossman, the internationally bestselling author of The Magicians trilogy, for a reading of short excerpts from new work written during their inspiring two week stay in Findhorn. Formerly the head book critic for Time Magazine (for which he interviewed the likes of J.K. Rowling and Neil Gaiman), Lev Grossman is the internationally bestselling author of the "weird and wonderful" (The Washington Post) Magicians series. The Magician's Land, the "explosive!" (Entertainment Weekly) conclusion to the "deeply human" (The New Yorker) trilogy, debuted at #1 on the New York Times Best Seller list and was a 2014 New York Times Notable Book. A small screen adaptation of the series premiered on the SyFy channel January 2016 (and is now in its third season). He is currently at work on The Bright Sword, a new take on Arthurian legend. "The Magicians is to Harry Potter as a shot of Irish whiskey is to a glass of weak tea. Hogwarts was never like this.”--George R. R. Martin, author of Game of Thrones "Wonderful. Mesmerizing. If the Narnia books were like catnip for a certain kind of kid, these books are like crack for a certain kind of adult." The New York Times "Relentlessly subversive and inventive. Grossman can write like a magician [and] reminds us that good writing can beguile the senses, imagination and intellect." The Washington Post. This Amazing event is sponsored and organized by "The Bunty " Shore Road Findhorn Scotland
