Soos Mobile Cat Grooming - Sue Grant
Description
Qualified, insured Master Cat Groomer accredited by the Pet Industry Federation grooming in the stress-free comfort of your precious cats home The cats coat is its most admired feature therefore having it groomed regularly is very beneficial. If it becomes matted or dull it is important to have it groomed as soon as possible. Don't forget short haired cats need grooming too.
I operate a mobile service specialising in cat grooming without sedation or anaesthetics, working for short periods of time, guided by the cat’s temperament and allowing for rest in between each session. Most matts can be combed out but in the most severe cases clipping off may be the only option. My aim is to negate the need for unnecessary sedation and anaesthesia for basic coat care issues.
In operating a mobile service I have found this far less stressful for cats who do not like to be separated from their owners, therefore the cat is far more confident.
For most cats, taking your cat to a salon can result in it being stressed before it even arrives due to the car journey. Then it has to deal with all the different scents and smells of dogs and other cats which can frighten and panic the cat before you even start to groom. I want to help you and your cat avoid any unnecessary stress.
With a mobile service once the groom is over the ordeal is over for the pet and owner, with no stressful car journey before and after.
I also offer cat sitting (in your own home) for local clients (within 8 mile radius of Fleet) if your cat does not settle in a cattery and you would prefer your pet to stay at home.
Whether you require grooming for your cat or cover whilst you are on holiday, I can help you. I provide a mobile service for you and your cat's convenience, and all services are provided in the comfort of your very own home.
Do have a look at my website for further details on services offered, thank you.

facebook.comHere is gorgeous Luther, can anyone guess his breed? He is 2 years old and has recently moved with his buddy Lincoln and his family to Bracknell. I groomed him today and removed a lot of thick winter coat together with clipping off some matts from behind his armpits with his Dad, Ben, present. His Mum, Tara, has just got home and seen him totally relaxed draped over his tower and sent me this picture, isn't he handsome!
Introducing the gorgeous Timmy, a 13-14 year old colourpoint Persian boy who lives with his Mum and Dad, Will and Katy, in Guildford. He has in the past had Lion clips, but at this time of year a Teddy Bear clip seemed to be a better compromise making it easier for all concerned to keep his coat tidy and still leaving this lovely boy some warmth and comfort - as he is a little arthritic. Lovely to meet you Timmy, such a gentleman and a delight to groom/clip :O)
Another regular visit to the lovely Banjo, a Sealpoint Ragdoll boy who is now 8.5 years old. He was also in full winter coat, as everyone is at the moment!, and had quite a bit of 'thatch' to groom out to make him more comfortable and even more handsome. Attached are a couple of pictures his Mum, Jill, has forwarded to me, one before his groom, one of him relaxing afterwards under the grooming table, and one of the huge pile of hair groomed out! Many thanks Jill.
Who remembers Oink? Here he is after my recent visit. Oink and his family used to live in Aldershot just 6 miles from me, they moved to Swindon so now my visits are less frequent, but manage to suffice for maintenance grooms as Oink is allowing his Dad, Phil, to groom him more often :O) Click on Phil's original post to see further pictures x
A note and pictures received from Sam, Elvis's Mum. Elvis is approx 3 years old and lives in Burghfield Common. He is an outdoor boy and comes back in with lots of twigs and seeds stuck in his undercarriage! Today's visit was a maintenance groom to rid him of any tangles and dead coat causing thickness (which could lead to matting). He is a super little cat, but does wriggle a bit which makes it all take a bit longer. So long as he is settled and happy afterwards we just have to take our time and go at his pace. Lovely to see you again Elvis, wish I'd taken a before and after pic of you too, together with the huge pile of hair which was removed!!! ** Update - see pic below of amount of hair removed during groom!! **
Here is handsome Hugo, a 3 year old Maine Coon cross, who lives with his Mum, Jacqui, in Horndean. I visited him for the first time today. A VERY nervous chap who was such a gentleman and so compliant on the grooming table I was able to get him groomed and his nasty matts clipped off his back legs and under his bottom in no time, making the whole procedure much easier for him too. It was a pleasure to meet you Hugo, and your Mum Jacqui of course!
Hello fellow cat lovers, just a quick note to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and to let you know I am taking a break over the festive period, returning to work on the 5th January. I look forward to seeing you and your fur babies in 2018! Lots of love Sue xx
So pleased Mimi has had her first Christmas card ever, hee hee xx
Here we have Twiglet, she lives in Newbury with her sister, Willow, and Mum Rachel. These lucky girls were both rescues from Cats Protection and Rachel has given them every care and time to bring them back to health and long term feeling happier and more relaxed. When I first met them 2 years ago, for claw trims, they were terribly nervous and stressed and hid for a day afterwards. I met them both at 1 o'clock today, Rachel sent me this picture of Twiglet at 4.30pm saying she was 'blissed out'! So lovely to see how much they have both come on and are not so scared of having their pedicures done any more 😁
You may be interested to bid for a groom I have donated on the Cats Protection Auction site 😊 There are loads of other lovely lots and with Christmas fast approaching you may find the perfect gift ... or a treat for yourself 😉
