This workshop is designed to not only teach your dog some essential life skills but also break old habits and build on a better relationship with your dog. Positive and reward based training using modern and effective methods. WHAT TO EXPECT: The concept of recall and your relationship with your dog. How to use the line, rewards and ‘collar catch’. Games to play to help with recalls Follow Me training Emergency recall game Recall away from distractions Sunday 4th June 1-2.30pm Scentwork Workshop WHERE: Herriard, Basingstoke, Hampshire PRICE: £20 per dog Your dog’s nose is amazing! Dogs are used for scentwork in the police, military and even medical detection now. You too can teach your dog to use his nose for fun. Scentwork provides great mental stimulation and improves relationship bonding and building. Suitable for all dogs and handlers. Sunday 4th June 3.30-5.30pm Do More With Your Dog WHERE: Herriard, Basingstoke, Hampshire PRICE: £25 per dog ➢ Would you love to do something interactive with your dog but not sure what? ➢ Would you like to improve your relationship and bond with your dog? ➢ Did you know by strengthening that bond and relationship, makes training and your control over your dog greater and improved! ➢ Did you know that mental stimulation is so important for your dog, helping them relax and chill and it can prevent behavioural problems. So why not give your dog a job otherwise they become self employed! Do more with your dog is a workshop designed to give short taster sessions of activities that you can take part in with your dog. You may then wish to take up classes in one particular discipline or you will take away ideas to do things at home or on your walks with your dog. Activies include: Agility Tricks and Doggie Fitness Scentwork for fun Treibball (herding large balls into goals) Suitable for all dogs of all ages and breeds. More dates to follow. Register your interest today. We also have some spaces in a variety of agility classes in Herriard, just south of Basingstoke. Monday 2-3pm Beginners Monday 3-4pm Intermediate Tuesday 5.30-6.30pm Intermediate/Advanced Tuesday 6.30-7.30pm Beginners/Intermediate Tuesday 7.30-8.30pm New Starters Wednesday 1.45-2.45pm Beginners Term starts on June 12th and runs for 9 weeks at a cost of £56 (no classes week of June 26th due to prior commitments)
