Description
New Dance Generation delivers fresh and funky dance and fitness classes across County Durham. Please like our page to find a class near to you! New Dance Generation are County Durham based and deliver a range of STREET DANCE and CHEERLEADING classes for children from 3 to 18 years of age who may have different abilities and levels of experience in dance, sport and exercise.
Our classes are held in our own studio at: Ferryhill Community Hub, Lambton Road, Ferryhill, County Durham, DL17 8BQ
New Dance Generation was established in March 2013 aiming to encourage young people to learn to dance in a fun and friendly environment, among people who have similar levels of ability. We aim to make our classes affordable – keeping all costs to a minimal !
We produce an annual ‘Gala’ performance of StreetDance at Ferryhill Gala in August, and in addition to this we recently delivered a showcase Streetdance performance at Mainsforth Institute.
Some of our students have achieved successful grades in Streetdance Examinations, as well as winning their way through to National Streetdance Championships taking place in Kent in the Autumn.
You are welcome to come along to one of our classes to see what we have on offer and meet our fab team of Dance Coaches and their support team. You will be greeted with a warm welcome and provided with the opportunity to meet other young people. Your parents are welcome to wait for you in the comfort of our Community Hub lounge area.

Today some of our girls are performing at "the thrilla in ferryhilla" boxing show! Get yourself down to ferryhill sport and education centre for a great day and lots of local talent! Doors open 12.
PINK GYM WORKSHOP 👍 Monday 9th April 6.30-7.30 9 years and under 7.30-8.30 10 years and over £10pp to pay on the day Fantastic opportunity for our dancers to develop skills in flexibility, strength, tricks and tumbles with qualified gym coaches and access to the amazing equipment! Non dancers are welcome to attend if you would like to bring along a friend.
Well done dancers! Your last rehearsal tonight and you all did brilliant! Thank you for committing to all the extra rehearsals and Jemma from the station club for use of the hall! And a special mention to Emma Waugh who has danced the last 3 weeks with a fractured foot so she didn't let her duo partner and team down! Don't hesitate, come down to ferryhill hub to get your tickets ASAP! Available from 4pm onwards tomorrow . Our kids have worked so hard for this so let's give them a sold out show, it's the least they deserve . So much talent to be shown, it's going to be one not to missed .
