Great little job today, we're really pleased with the results, as was the customer.

Customers 13,000 Gallon pond with under ground filter house. 11 feet deep... Run by 2 X Auto Nexus 320's and 2 X Bakki Showers. When doing some general maintenance, I noticed a couple were doing some flashing and also clocked a few marks. Netting them with the customers 18" pan net was a mission to say the least... 🙄 scraped 6 fish and found Gil flukes and topically treated 4 small ulcers. Treated with Kusuri Fluke M, repeat in 7 days and then a treatment of CT 10 days after that. A few more visits for topical treatments and water treatments... I'd better bring a bigger and longer net! 😀

Keeping equipment in good condition is always important. But, at this time of the year even more so! Make sure you have no electrics issues. If you have any faulty equipment, change it. If you have any electric issues, sort it. As it may have disastrous consequences. In the warmer months, it is imperative you have plenty of oxygen in your pond. Don't let this happen to your beloved pond! 😞😞😞

Simply koi fitted a automatic cleaning Nexus yesterday for our good friend Joe Nethersell, President of the Federation of British Aquatic societies and organisers of the Festival Of Fish Keeping at the wonderful Hounslow Urban Farm. It was a challenging job as it was so tight. We had to take the filter over the shed roof and through the roof of the filter house. Good job we're all young strong lads 😂 Filter looks great and Joe is, in his words, "Happy as a pig in the proverbial" 💩 😂
