Wednesday and Thursday a pop up coffee shop in Trimley St Mary, serving good food and providing work based training for adults with learning disabilities Roseberry Cottage is a community based enterprise, based in Trimley, we aim to open a pop up community café in late Spring 2015 along with offering outside catering and cookery lessons.
Lisa will come out and give your club or group a cooking demonstration within the Felixstowe area and tell you about our work and values.

Last day of Food and fun today This morning we finished off our recipe books and made a super easy and quick vegetable curry, it was requested last week We peeled and grated carrots, grated courgettes and chopped green beans, added the veg to quorn pieces and added a jar of curry sauce, some veggie stock and salt and pepper were added and we simmered it for about 20 minutes!! After lunch we made chocolate brownies ( another request) before joining Level two for sports We also discussed what the group had enjoyed, not enjoyed and suggestions for the future Everyone took home a recipe book and pencil case which they had decorated and were filled with pens etc thanks to Felixstowe Lions Club Food and fun was a project we worked on with Suffolk County Council and the department of education Thanks to Taz Hussain for her support and excellent photos

Last week of the summer holidays and we have the lovely Chrysalis the Clown coming in Wednesday thanks to Trimley St Mary parish council From 1-3 Free lunches at 12 noon Wednesday and Thursday Please book for activity and lunch

Today’s fun and food group made fantasy animals, flowers and sponge bob out of fondant They also decorated unicorns and farm animals Shannon and Steve prepared several kilos of plums and Emily turned it into Plum Jam Games with Level 2 to finish the afternoon Next week the group have requested a curry making session and would like to make either chocolate brownies, flapjacks or shortbread Fun and food- working in partnership with Suffolk County Council and Dept. Of Education
