Fr Charlie Carr's Requiem Mass will be held at St.Francis Xavier's Catholic church, 1 Hope Street, Falkirk, FK1 5AT, Saturday 24th February at 12noon, Thereafter to Grandsable cemetery arriving approx 1:30pm. Some sad news reaches us as we begin the season of Lent with the passing of Father Charles Carr. Father Charles was a wonderful, gentle soul who served the parish brilliantly in his time at St John's. His started his career in nursing, and then passed his experience on as a lecturer before his ordination into the priesthood. His experience of a fulfilling life shone through in his sermons. Please keep his family in your prayers tonight. God bless and Requiescat in pace Father Carr.

THANK YOU!!! To everyone who made such an amazing fancy dress effort and came to our Halloween party today! Mary Stewart & Eddie Hughes for serving up such a feast amongst other duties! Lee Ralston for supplying the disco free of charge and helping with the games. Albert for taking our pictures. And to all our helpers on the day for decorating, making up bags, helping with games, tombola, and tidying up. Everyone seemed to have fun! Summer Fete Sunday 27th August This was a fantastic day last year. Get it in the diary and spread the word. We are looking for more Children's toys, Bric a brac, Jewellery & Bottle donations as well as homemade baking if anyone has something that they could hand in or contribute to the fete stalls we would be grateful. All donations can be handed in to the Chapel Hall every night from Monday 21st August 7pm-9pm to Friday 25th Aug. Please share folks!
