Description

The Alma is a friendly village local pub, dog-friendly with a large garden and children's play area.  Now under new management Matt and Stevie will  continue to provide excellent real ales, lagers and wines and will soon be starting a range of lunchtime and evening meals over the coming months, starting with our fabulous roast Sunday Lunches. Our large garden has a child-friendly play area and we are a dog-friendly pub, although we insist that dogs (and children) be kept under control.

Did you know that on this day in 1879 the first edition of the Boy’s Own Paper was published. The editor was Mr. S.O. Beeton, the husband of Mrs. Beeton, the cookery book writer. This is just a roundabout way of reminding everybody about our fabulous Sunday roast lunches, available from 12:30 until 4:30 pm for only £8.95. Please note that we will not be serving Lunches on Sunday 5th February as we have a private function that day.
