A MASSIVE THANK YOU TO ALL WHO ATTENDED THE BIG ONE 2016 Vince and Colin would like to offer a huge thank you to all those who attended The Big One over the last weekend, without the support of you and around 20,000 other anglers there would be no show. We would also like to offer our sincere apologies for the extreme problems with traffic on Saturday. Unfortunately there was a major traffic incident in the Farnborough area that caused a massive knock on to the huge volume of traffic trying to get to the show, unfortunately all this was outside our control. However the unacceptable wait to enter and be parked after reaching the venue was our responsibility and it was obvious that the venue owners had badly miscalculated on what would be required to accommodate our ever increasing numbers of guests. Sunday proved to be entirely the opposite to Saturday, increased number of parking attendants, previously prohibited space released for parking, and fortunately no major traffic incidents, meant a far smoother operation. Feedback tells us that despite all the frustration and inconvenience, that once in the show the vast majority had a good time, with our new attractions meeting with much approval. please be assured that the lessons learnt from the problems this year will help to make The Big One 2017 a show not to be missed.
