What is Pilates?

Pilates is a form of body conditioning that works to improve your posture, increase awareness of your core muscles, strengthen specific muscle groups helping to protect the body, whilst increasing mobility and flexibility. Pilates promotes a connection with the mind, which can increase an overall sense of well-being.


Cscape Pilates offers small group matwork classes at a variety of levels from Beginners to Advanced. With 18 classes a week on offer, there is something for everyone and to suit every level!
Cscape offers classes for those who are rehabilitating from an injury or health condition and welcomes referrals form GPs, Physios and other health practitioners.
Teacher and Director, Sally Knight, teaches a dynamic and flowing style of Pilates which draws from her training with the Pilates Foundation with influences from other forms of movement including yoga and dance.

New Pilates for Mum and Baby class starts next Tuesday 26th at 10am taught by Sally. Only 6 spaces so pre-booking required. Pelvic floor exercises, gentle stretches, a nice chat over a cuppa and baby cuddles, what could be more lovely? Contact us for more info, and please share! A restorative class for the post natal period, followed by coffee/tea and time to connect with other mums. This is a gentle post natal recovery class, focussing on toning the pelvic floor and abdominal muscles, alongside other core muscle groups which will aid your body and posture to withstand the physical stresses and strains of early motherhood. Summer sessions begin on Monday! Our scaled down super Summer hols schedule is now open for bookings! Mondays at 6.30pm and Fridays at 10am for the next 4 weeks.
