New section finished up today off the side of McPinning. Steep and tight but still really flowy. Gives another option to get you down the hill. A couple more like this to come! ⛏

We've kept these trails quiet for few weeks but I thought I would share them to show it isn't just the two main trails on the hill! The first is just off of the fire road and is full of turns and steep in the middle. The second is just another way to get down through the top section in the trees. You can link these with the main trails to mix things up a bit! To try and add some variety to Kelburn I'll be adding in a few sections like this over the summer. The idea being more natural, technical sections. Come and check them out! Thanks to everyone who came out on Sunday for our Open Day as well. Good to see a few new faces!

We've decided to have our first Open Day of the year! Here's how it works, the trails will be open for anyone to ride for the day, not just members. This does mean there will be a small entry fee, to cover parking, for non-members: - £5 parking for non-members. - Free for members. I'll be around all day to chat to everyone and fill everyone in on what's happening with the trails this season. I'll also be able to show people Round who have never been before. You will be able to purchase a membership during the day if you are looking for one. Just pop into the information office in Kelburn and the staff there will sort you out. Just wanted to say a quick thanks to everyone who has bought a membership since we opened. We had around 50 through all of last season and that's us just passed 60 this year and it's only been a month! Info on the new trail and more Open Days coming soon. Just a heads up for anyone heading to Kelburn this weekend. We've made a slight track change on "Rooty Tooty" at "that tight left turn" everyone knows about. Rides much nicer now! Enjoy! - Nick.

While we're at it join me for a run down the other main trail up here, "McPinning". More of a natural singletrack type of trail mixed with bike-park style berms in the middle before a steep twisting section at the end. Short but mega fun! Been getting a lot of good feedback about the trails from everyone I've spoke to or met up there. Makes all our hard work worth it! Got a few new things on the way as well so keep an eye out for them next time you're up! :D ;)

Was great to have these two young kids down at the trials to film a video on Tuesday! Had great fun showing them around and they loved every minute of it. Even taking on some of the jumps and managing the steep sections like pros! Sure I'll see them again soon! Good luck with your upcoming races guys!
