Kestrelway Gundog Training Centre
Description
Training quality gundogs for the shooting field, rough shooting, working tests and field trials, from individual & groups to full game training days. We are based just outside of Evesham, 15 miles from the M5, 20 miles from the M40 (J15) and 18 miles from the M42 (J3).
We have a dedicated training ground which includes jumps, ditches, water and other obstacles. We also have a rabbit pen available. To compliment this we have two very different grounds for game training and summer dummy work - on our home ground, New Farm, we have beet fields and a short drive away we have Honeybourne with white grass, plantation and cover, each offering very different training opportunities. (Training in the beet is available from the middle of July to the end of August).
We have training for everyone - for those competing in the field, tests or trials, at all levels (Puppy, Novice, Internediate and Open). Training is structured to accommodate 1:1 or groups, and takes into consideration the ability of the dogs and handlers and what you/your group specifically want to work on.
Training is available on weekdays daytime/evenings and weekends, times to suit all parties.

Spring training groups. OPEN NOVICE & PUPPY It will be as in previous years PAY on the day. Only thing l ask is you let me know if you will be attending the next class so we know how many we have coming Open Class, Monday Evenings 6-8pm 2nd April 9th April 30th April 7th May 14th May 28th May Summer dates will be posted in May. Novice Class, Tuesday Evenings 6-8pm 3rd April 10th April 1st May 8th May 15th May 29th May Summer dates will be posted in May All Novice and Open classes are £25 per handler per week. Spring puppy classes Saturday mornings 10.30 - 11.30. Dates are; 7th April 5th May 12th May 26th May 2nd June Monday Evenings 6.30 - 7.30 Dates are; 2nd April 9th April 30th April 7th May 14th May 28th May Cost £15 per handler per class payable on the day Please let me know which you can do ASAP. Please let me know if you are coming to the first evening for any class ASAP.
FTCh Kestrelway Freddie has passed his BVA eye test today.
We have 3 spaces that have become available on our Open training course at New Farm, Norton, starting this Saturday 17th Feb. 10.30-12.30am. If interested pm me for more details.
Congratulations to Norman and Kestrelway Freddie awarded 2nd at The Labrador Retriever Club All Aged Trial held at Ragley.
Contrary to rumours that seem to be going around. Kestrelway Gundogs is not relocating anywhere, we’re staying where we are and it’s business as usual.
