So Ian picked his van up today. I said have you got the speakers that are going in here? He said it's them there. Those big things I replied? Yeah they ain't going to fit are they he replied. I'll make some boxes for the top mate. I'll bring them to whitenoise if I come buddy 🖒

That's my bit on Ian and Donna's van done. So many doors 😳 and three drawers. Just needs a clean tomorrow and it'll be ready for collection. This has definitely been an interesting one. I can't wait to see this van finished. Jay.

Hi I'd like to introduce Ian and Donna Ponds LWB T4. They have decided to set the bed forward for a rear kitchen. Donna & Ian asked if I could make it 1050mm tall and full width? I said yeah, no worries makes no odds how high it is. (How wrong I was) These rear pillars curve into the top and in towards the front (arghhh the scribing) The unit has to go in from the back because Ian has already fitted his bed and bolted his hydro suspension into it. Still not to be beaten I've split the unit into 2 so the bottom can go in from the back and the top bit can twist in over the bed. This also solves the angles at the back, keeping the front(back) vertical (so all the doors work correctly) So yeah that's the confusing bit sorted. Jay.

So it's a heatwave then? I can't say I've noticed as the beers cold. How about this for a slice of the 70's? I'll be honest I wasn't sure when Jon and Becks picked this top but I'll admit when I'm wrong. I wouldn't have thought that this would look so good. Enjoy the sunshine. Jay.

That's Mick away in his new camper van. This one is a really high spec. Mick found a 140ps twin slider combi then added a high low roof before bringing it to me. I added a sliding rib bed, Rib passenger seat swivel, Eberspacher d2, 2x 100ah batteries, 100amp split charge system, 240v hook up, 7 LED light (2 in the tailgate) Smev hob, Crx 50 fridge, Checkered flooring and carpet line, 2 tables , Van x curtains, Along with a side unit that makes use of that extra sliding door. So here's some pictures.

Micks unit is finished at last. Being a twin sliding door van the unit has been a little more complicated than a standard one. That's why I built the unit before laying the floor. If you've got straight lines like this it's even more important to get everything lined up perfectly.

I thought I'd share this. The forecast doesn't look too bad at the minute. Full access to the museum is included in the price and there's always something new to see. It's a really good day out if you're at a loose end. I'll be there.
