Scottish art worth seeing. Award-winning Tolquhon Gallery (pronounced T'hon), established in 1987, surprises and delights with paintings, prints, sculpture and applied art of the highest quality. Just thirty minutes from the granite streets of Aberdeen, beside historic Tolquhon Castle, artist Danny Ross and his wife, Joan, have created a wonderful gallery full of contemporary Scottish art. Wander through the colourful garden to find exciting sculpture among the plants. Then enter the gallery, a spacious Victorian farmhouse, and discover work by Scotland's leading artists alongside emerging talents.
