What you could learn studying under my guidance….
Well, I teach two areas...
1.Combat
2.Physical/Spirit Health
My combat teaching is in four aspects.
1. Japanese (loosely) ... through my Ikken Hissatsu Karate Club. A very practical Karate system focusing on severe techniques but incorporating Katas from Shotokan (my first Karate style), other Karate styles and in keeping with the origin of Karate, some Chinese Kata.
2. Chinese ...through my Wushu/ Kung Fu classes. A practical fighting class with many routines. Incorporating external (Wei Jia) and Internal (Nei Jia) Schools. Included are the styles of Northern and Southern Shaolin, Changquan, Nanquan, Zhaquan, Taijiquan, Baqua Quan, Hsing-I Quan, Weapons etc. Also Sanda (which is full contact sparring with throws)
3. Western... Including Kickboxing (semi and full contact) , Seven Stars Stick Fighting a practical, stick based fighting system, Viking/Anglo Celtic Martial Arts which incorporates striking, throws, wrestling groundwork and ancient and modern weapons
Close Quarter Combatives, Shoot Wrestling, Bodyguard Skills, Self Defence, Security & Military Combat, Weapons -Traditional & Modern, Fitness Training, Strength Training.
4. McKinney Combat System
My own system, which I have developed over many years. Unarmed and Armed.
Usually in the form of Seminars and includes.. Street defence, grappling, modern weapons etc.
My Physical/Spirit Health teaching has both Eastern and Western origins
The systems incorporate Tai Chi, Qigong, Ling Qi, Yoga, Meditation, Celtic/Drui Work... etc.
I teach several styles of Tai Chi and Qigong.
These days there are many clubs to choose from, some may suit you better.

Seven Stars Martial Arts Association (California) (Inc. Gentle Warrior Tai Chi Association) Today I have awarded my student of many years, Mr. Paul Scott an Instructors certificate in Tai Chi. I have also asked him to head Seven Stars Martial Arts Association (California) and have incorporated his club Gentle Warrior Tai Chi Association as a part of that Association. Mr. Scott has also been inducted as an Honourable Warrior within the Chivalric Order of Honourable Warriors. The club "Gentle Warrior Tai Chi Association" and Seven Stars Martial Arts Association (California) have been awarded the title "Honourable Clan of the Order". Congratulations to Paul and best wishes for the continuing success of the Association. Paul works extensively with veterans using Tai Chi therapy to alleviate PTSD. Anyone visiting California can be assured that Seven Stars Martial Arts Association (California) - Gentle Warrior Tai Chi is a safe and honourable club to visit and is in good hands with Mr. Scott at the helm.
