The Craft Shop The Craft Shop was set up by its owner, Diane Hemsley, over 3 years ago, after her niece took over her previous craft shop at Thorseby Courtyard. When first setting up shop diane only had limited amounts of stock and was the 3rd Craft shop to be in the town. As the shops consumer base grew, so did the shop within a year Diane took the shop from having two rooms to three and brought wool back to Retford!

Now five years on and the only Craft shop in Retford and for a few miles out of Retford, the shop is thriving with customers still coming in, and some not previously visiting before. The shop in your one-stop place for the crafting bits you need, stocking wool, paper craft, embroidery threads and kits, tapestry wool, beads, sewing and many more times for you to explore.

Not only is the shop a place to buy great things, it is a shop to meet fellow enthusiasts in the every growing crafting world. Along with meeting other customers in the shop you can meet them at the shops very own unique workshop run by Diane herself, there is everything from Jewellery making to polymer clay, wet felt making to needle craft courses., whatever takes your fancy!
